WEAREHOPE.COM was started after the first HOPE conference held in New York City in 1994. HOPE stands for "Hackers on Planet Earth". The affair was small but comfortable. It was an amazing time for many. Hackers got to come out of the dark and damp basements and show the world that they were here to stay and that their talents deserved recognition.
As a result of HOPE, I built this website to serve as a reminder of the wonderful time I had. I have been to several of the conferences since, and have put up this space as a stop-gap between conferences for people to keep in touch, share stories, and continue the brotherhood. You'll also find on this site information about the national and several local 2600 groups around the country that I have become familiar and acquainted with. Enjoy your stay! |

WEAREHOPE.COM REDESIGNED! February 15, 2005
The old site became drab and boring. Links were broken, and I didn't seem to care. Our information is now going to be continually updated as changes take place.
Forums and chat rooms will be provided for anyone's use. We will provide a place for information that anyone wants to put out there for public consumption.
Services will continue to be added as interest is shown. We will provide FTP services, gaming services, virtual routers, shell accounts, e-mail accounts and web space for those interested. For information,

STL 2600 BACK AT GALLERIA

The St. Louis 2600 meeting has been moved BACK to the St. Louis Galleria Food Court.
Just go to the food court and head towards the end where the fireplace is.
